1. Introduction

roboattic Lab and Md Shahbaz Hashmi Ansari ("we," "our," or "us") built the BT Arduino Car Controller app (the "App") as a Free application. This SERVICE is provided by roboattic Lab at no cost and is intended for use "as is."

This page is used to inform ongoing and future users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

2. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, share, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or personal user data. The App is designed solely to act as a local remote control interface for personal DIY electronics and robotics projects (such as ESP8266/ESP32 NodeMCU vehicles).

Because no personal data is collected, we do not share any data with third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising services.

3. Application Permissions Overview

To function correctly, the App requires specific Android device permissions. All data accessed by these permissions remains locally on your device or is only transmitted to the local IP address of your custom hardware (e.g., your RC car's local WiFi server). Data is never uploaded to our servers or the internet.

• Network & Wi-Fi Connections (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE):

  These permissions are required to establish an HTTP connection with your local ESP-based hardware. The App sends control commands (such as speed and directional data) directly to the IP address you provide. The App does not browse the internet or send data to external cloud servers.

• Device Sensors (Accelerometer/Gyroscope):

  If you use the "Gyro Mode" feature, the App accesses your device's accelerometer to determine the physical tilt and rotation of your phone. This tilt data is instantly converted into directional steering commands for your RC car. This sensor data is processed in real-time, is never saved to your device, and is never transmitted to us or any third parties.

• Vibration/Haptics:

  The App uses the device's vibration motor to supply haptic feedback when pressing buttons or moving joysticks.

Our App may contain links to external sites (such as the roboattic Lab YouTube channel or roboatticlab.com). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. Because our App does not collect personal information of any kind, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
